POWER PLANT SOLUTIONS

Siemens hired UET to solve problems of poor water quality and improve concentration cycles at a major solar power plant in Lebrija, Spain. UET units were installed in their cooling towers and the crew was trained in their operation. After the 2nd year and 6th year of operation, the heat exchangers were inspected and found to be free of scale deposits. During 2015, the UET units removed 1,833Kg of scale that could have settled in the water system!
Today, the plant is saving more than 250,000 m³ of water and half-a-million dollars per year by reducing its chemical, servicing and water costs.
