UET was asked to improve the efficiency of the air-conditioning system for the surgery building of a major Israeli hospital complex, which was using soft water and salt to tackle scale build-up in the water cooling system.

Siemens hired UET to solve problems of poor water quality and improve concentration cycles at a major solar power plant in Lebrija, Spain. UET units were installed in their cooling towers and the crew was trained in their operation. After the 2nd year and 6th year of operation, the heat exchangers were inspected and found to be free of scale deposits.
